"Tucked away in this quiet southern part of the city, and with an unusual amount of open, green space for the children to play, you wouldn’t know you were in one of the busiest cities in the world!”

On Saturday 29 April NIS Jakarta was once again chosen to host a gathering of members of the local Sri Lankan community. The event included the Sri Lankan ambassador to Indonesia along with many prominent members of the business and social community.

NIS Jakarta recently joined the Nord Anglia Education family of international schools, and the group’s regional director of student admissions, Tim Eaton, was on hand to witness the event. Tim commented: “This was my first visit to our new school, and seeing the local Sri Lankan community enjoying our lovely grounds reminds me why it is so popular with both international and local families, particularly those with children in Early Years and Primary classes. Tucked away in this quiet southern part of the city, and with an unusual amount of open, green space for the children to play, you wouldn’t know you were in one of the busiest cities in the world!”
