Well done to our Early Years team of teachers and assistants on completion of a 12-week professional development Best Practice in Early Years: 1.

The course delivered by our Early Years Coordinator Domine Brown and our experienced teacher Esther Coumans and engaged staff in practical and theoretical training about child development and best practice for young learners. Topics covered included: child directed interactions; open-ended questioning; the power of through this course the NIS Early Years team have strengthened their knowledge, team work and passion for teaching. Today there were many happy faces as each participant proudly received their certificate in recognition of their achievements serving; provocations and setting up the learning environment.
