Pre-Nursery and Nursery

Our Nursery and Pre Nursery production was a great success. The children were fantastic and so very well behaved! As you can imagine, a production of 80 2-4 year olds can go one of two ways, but our children proved that with hard work and a little shock factor they could pull off a truly magnificent show.

We used the book ‘Stickman’ By Julia Donaldson to base our show around. This was our favourite book from Book Week and a great hook to get the children excited about Christmas.

In our show, Stickman is lost and cannot find his way home. He encounters Mary and Joseph and Santa who help him get back to his family tree.

All the children and teachers worked very hard and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! A big thank you and huge congratulations to all involved!

Reception

On Tuesday, the Reception Cubs took part in a very successful Christmas Play: Ralph the Green Nosed Reindeer! The children told the story of Ralph who helped his friend Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer feel better in time to deliver the presents for Christmas.

The children told the story themselves with great enthusiasm through words, actions, dance and song. They had also been heavily involved in planning their props, making and creating them as well as some of their own costumes.

All teachers and cubs would like to thank our wonderful parents for their support with practising words, collecting the costumes together and by encouraging and clapping the children so wholeheartedly. It was a fantastic event!
