ECA Spotlight: Newspaper Club

16 april 2015

Ever since the Christmas holidays, the students of the Newspaper Club ECA have been working hard putting together the second edition of their paper 'The BISS Roar'.

  • The Newspaper ECA at the British International School Shanghai, Puxi has released it's second edition

This remarkable publication is entirely the children's own work: they research articles in subjects that they are interested in, write the articles and then edit and format the newspaper. This way, 'The BISS Roar' represents the children's voice as they communicate directly with their peers.

Following the success of the first edition and high demand from students and teachers alike, the print run has had to be expanded and now copies are going out to all classes across Key Stages 1 and 2. If you haven’t seen a copy, you can read the whole paper by clicking on the link below and you will be able to enjoy articles as diverse as book reviews, environmental stories, history articles and school news, to mention just a few!

Watch this space in June to see what the third edition will bring...
