When the children arrived at school yesterday morning, they discovered lots of beautiful plants and flowers and some real life creepy crawlies!

They quickly took on the role of Scientists and went off exploring. They used their magnifying glasses to help them to spot the worms and snails that were hiding in the soil. They were also very impressed that the snails were eating the bananas!

We have also delicately completed lots of observational drawings and have been reading all about the different plants and insects in our non-fiction books. We can’t wait to see what other creatures will arrive!
