Week Beginning 22 June 2015

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for the wonderful children’s party held last week. This was an enormous success enjoyed by all, and we acknowledge the huge effort that many of you put in to making this happen for our children.

  • Children will finish the school year on Thursday 25 June at 3:30pm.
  • A message from the school library - Please return any outstanding library books back to your child’s teacher and we will return them for you. If you have any lost books please contact Charlotte Jessen or Minna Weisberg at the library on the following email: or
  • On Wednesday 23 June you will be receiving your child’s End of Year Report which will capture their learning progress and attainment this year. If you are unable to collect this on Wednesday, you will be able to pick it up from school through the summer or the start of the new school year. It is also possible to have an electronic version on request by contacting . Please note that no reports will be issued before Wednesday.

In this last week the children will be reflecting on and writing about their highlights this year.  We will also introduce a brief topic on being safe and sensible over the Summer break, this includes topics such as sun safety and making good choices.

Maths learning continues this week with revision and maths games.  Children will have the opportunity to look back on previous maths learning and choose topics to revisit.

Themed Learning

This last week allows children to finish off work from our Jobs That People Do topic.
