    Anthony Riley

    Anthony spent four years studying Primary Education at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he obtained his BA (hons) degree. Following his studies, Anthony worked around Glasgow and developed both his teaching and leadership skills with a particular focus on Outdoor Learning and Cooperative Learning. 

    Anthony developed a passion for travelling and was eager to enhance his practice by working in an international sector. It was then that he decided to work in the Middle East and started teaching in an Outstanding British School for the past six years.

    Keen to experience different year groups, Anthony worked in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and took on a Curriculum Leader role, leading Humanities and Social Studies from Foundation Stage to Year 6. 

    Anthony then took on Year Leader roles in Year 2, Year 3 and Year 5. Following this, he was made a member of the Senior Leadership Team. His role included various responsibilities such as leading a learning model across the school and designing and leading a Concept Curriculum. Anthony was honoured to receive the Marianna Varkey Award for the ‘Primary Teacher of the Year 2018’.

    Claire is a graduate of Queens University Belfast, where she gained a BA (Hons) degree in Information Management and Sociology. After graduating Claire decided to gain international travel experience, while also teaching English in South Korea. It was here that she found her passion for education and returned to the UK to complete her teaching qualification.

    Andrew Foster

    Andrew qualified from Cardiff University in 2003 with a Degree in Computer Science. He relocated to China and taught English as a foreign language for two and a half years at a prestigious Chinese boarding school. Andrew returned to the UK in 2007 to study for his PGCE at UWIC University. He then worked as a class teacher in primary schools in London and the South East of England. Prior to joining BISS Puxi as a Year 4 teacher Andrew has been a class teacher, ICT Coordinator and Key Stage 2 Leader

    Dean Knowles

    Dean completed a joint BA (Hons) degree in History and Education at the University of Northampton, UK in 2013. After travelling and working with children abroad, he attended Kingston University, UK to undertake a PGCE in Primary Teaching. Dean has spent the last two years working in a primary school in Surrey, where he has helped to develop the provision of PE within the school and increase participation in sporting activities.

    Shnell Donacien

    Shnell was born and raised in the tiny Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She came with her family to England in 1993 and after a number of years of Primary and Secondary education she graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Sociology and Linguistics from the University of Western England. Subsequently, she  attended Goldsmith College, a part of the University of London, and obtained her Post Graduate Certificate of Education in 2008.
