Last Wednesday all Year 12 Theatre Arts students boarded a plane to Singapore to spend 3 days fully immersed in theatre practices, traditions and theorists. This is an important academic and practical element of the course and gives the students the tools to achieve well in their studies.
Students attended workshops including Lecoq physical theatre, Balinese Topeng mask and Kecak movement and chanting. They spent their time in ensemble groups, working with students from across Asia, to create innovative and exciting theatre.
The students have returned inspired and motivated, they will be demonstrating their new knowledge and inspiration next week when they deliver workshops to Year 10 Drama students.
