Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1: Awakening to our role as global citizens

Find out more about the Y2 Sleepover last Thursday...The last Sports Days of the academic year took place last week… Don’t forget about the first-ever Paper Trash Thursday this week... We will be hosting a Health & Well-Being Workshop this Friday at High School.

The Great Y2 Sleepover!

Thursday last week brought the long-awaited Y2 Sleepover!  One of the main highlights of the Y2 year. A fantastic opportunity to spend more time with friends and watch the sunrise over Bangkok!  The children all had an amazing time taking part in a whole range of activities before settling down to a movie and popcorn.

All of the teachers were filled with praise for the children and the way they behaved - everyone doing exactly what was asked of them the first time of asking.  There were quite a few requests to repeat the experience, and anyone who might have been a bit worried about spending a night away from home have certainly been given the confidence to approach next year’s Y3 Residential with enthusiasm!

Well Done Y2.  We are all very proud of you!

It was a week of sport in Primary School last week as the last of our Sports Days took place.  It was noticeable to see how skills progress dramatically from FS, through to Y1 and into Y2, and clear to see how much the children enjoy taking part.

The KS2 House Captains once again did a great job demonstrating the races, and parents and teachers did a great job encouraging everybody as they won valuable points for their Houses.
