Themes across the term include Chocolate, Planeteers, Active Planet, Magical Materials, Dinosaurs, Fairy Tales and much, much more. To enrich and engage further we have our Global Campus Challenge to create a BSB Sanlitun Rube Goldberg Machine (a complicated invention that is created to perform a simple operation or everyday task). Last year we were the proud overall winners of the Global Campus UN ‘Make it Right’ Global Challenge so we hope to continue with our success. To further enrich learning there are trips, school performances, sporting fixtures, pupils travelling abroad to compete in different areas such as sports and maths, Chinese New Year celebrations and our Book Week Extravaganza to name just a few things we have to look forward to this term.
Parents play an integral part in school life and the learning and development of our students; we enjoy all of the opportunities we have throughout the term for parents to come into school and share in their child’s learning. We extend learning outside of the school day through our Daily Emails to parents sharing the key learning of the day, as well as through homework, after school clubs, parent workshops and access to our Global Campus online learning platform connecting Nord Anglia students across the world. Just a few of the things we do!
We welcome everyone to the Spring Term and look forward to seeing all of the ambitious learning taking place throughout the term.
