EAL students have had a great start to the school year learning English through many creative activities related to daily topics such as school, daily routine, parts of the body and time. They have worked in pairs and in groups to strengthen their speaking skills and have learnt some amazing vocabulary through online activities, interactive apps, colourful worksheets and flashcards. The students have been walking around the school to better visualise the vocabulary they have learned and finally, used their self-regulating skills to check their understanding in a positive and effective way. With 2 new teachers joining the EAL Department, the children are provided with more opportunities to learn English in some really inspiring ways and so far, they have enjoyed this fun and creative learning very much.
