The children most certainly seem rested and it was really pleasing to see them coming into school on Monday with huge smiles on their faces, excited to see their friends and ready to continue on their learning journey.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome two new members of staff to our Early Years department: Miss Sue-Marie George, class teacher in Reception Whales and Mrs Holly Gilbert, class teacher in our new Pre-Nursery Seashells class that opened this week.

The children certainly have a lot to look forward to this half term including Math’s week and Chinese New Year celebrations. As usual your child’s learning journal will be updated on Tapestry on a regular basis. Please have a look at the photographs with your child and let them explain their learning to you.
