In Year 4 we have been putting ourselves in the shoes of children who don’t have access to quality education and writing from their perspective. To launch our competition, we watched a video on Global Campus from the author Debroah Ellis who gave us helpful advice on how to write a successful story. With our creative writing caps on, we were using our fluent thinking skills to generate ideas for reasons why some children seek a quality education and the barriers which can prevent them from attaining one.
Once we decided on our characters and ideas we wrote our plan and posted our story ideas on Global Campus sharing them with our Nord Anglia family of schools. The children are thoroughly enjoying bringing their characters to life and are hard at work with their story writing.
