Reading literacy is the best basis for a good development of the children, both for their ability to concentrate as well as for their imagination, their logical thinking and their empathy. Reading promotes creativity, builds vocabulary, improves grammar, enhances general education, leads to better writing, improves memory.

The children on the German Programme have received the reading pass. The children are encouraged to read the books at home and are very welcome to borrow the books from the German Classroom in our school. The German library is growing to give the children more choice in reading books. The children are very excited to borrow the books and very proud to show me their reading passes with parent’s signature. Its lovely to see the children talking about their books, stories and asking each other, if they could swap their books next week.

Happy reading everyone! Viel Spaß beim Lesen.
