First, we learnt all about how hail storms form. Later, we moved onto writing about the process using amazing adjectives like angry, tumultuous and scary. We also used time connectives like first, second and then. Next, we used our STEP BY STEP skills to create snowflakes out of pipe cleaners. Later, the children went on to conduct a scientific experiment where they used salt and hot water to help crystals form on their snowflakes. Finally, the children went onto using book creator to document the process and use instructions to explain how they made it.
