My journey to BSB Sanlitun is reflected in the ambition I have always had to strive to achieve in my own education and to create the highest of standards for children as learners, as well as being able to explore my passion of travelling the world. I believe it is important to continue to learn as an adult and as a teacher, and to come out of your comfort zone to inspire and share experiences with children. I specifically wanted to come to BSB Sanlitun as many of the school values are at the heart of my practice and I feel through my professional experience that I can still learn a lot but also share my knowledge on academia, and looking at the child as a whole.
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving” – Albert Einstein
My friends and family are very supportive of my ambitions and accept that in order to keep balance in my life I must keep moving in the direction that I am most passionate about – teaching and travel. My hobbies and interests range from pushing myself in fitness and running to finding a good page turning book to read. Did I mention I love travel and exploring? Well that too! And meeting new people and sharing experiences.
