My life as a performer began early, when I won the role of Young Cosette in the Australian production of Les Miserables, and for the rest of my school years I was an actress, singer and dancer, appearing on stage and on television. I worked with many amazing people including Sammy Davies Jr and I performed for the Queen, which made for an exciting time as a young performer.
As an adult I continued working in the industry including being the choreographer for the hit children’s educational TV show “Hi-5”, which won Australia’s prestigious Helpmann Award.
I first began teaching singing, dance and drama when I was 17, and I completed my Bachelor of Education at the University of New South Wales. As well as teaching in schools I ran my own performing arts studio in Sydney. After I met my husband I moved to the UK, where I combined working as a producer and creative director with teaching singing, dance and drama.
I work a lot with my performer and artist friends, helping them with the business as well as the creative side of their careers, and I love spending time with my family and going on adventures to find great places to practise my hobby, photography.
