BISB Closed Tuesday, February 10

February 08, 2015

BISB will be closed Tuesday, February 10 due to weather conditions.

Based on the safety concerns expressed by the Mayor, his request that residents stay off the roads tomorrow, the ongoing snow emergency that remains in place and the mammoth task of clearing snow at our campus, we will be closed Tuesday, February 10.
Tuesday's Year 3 trip to Franklin Park Zoo will be re-scheduled for a later date.  The basketball game at The Park School is cancelled.
We are planning to open as normal on Wednesday, and you are invited in to attend our middle and high school open classrooms event, to be held at 9 a.m.
Teachers will continue to communicate with students and families about ongoing school work.  We are in active discussions regarding possible ways to address the missed school days and more information will follow on that in due course.
Please be careful with all this shoveling; keep safe and warm.
