SPORTS AND ATHLETICS
We offer a range of sports and athletics at BISB that encourage your child to be active, lead a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen their skills. Our program includes soccer, track and cross-country, basketball, and curling. Our extracurricular offerings are always rotating each term so your child can participate in a variety of activities. Sometimes, these extracurriculars have also included yoga, mindfulness, or martial arts.

We offer a great spectrum of artistic and creative activities that allow your child to express themselves through the senses by using images, design, movement, sound, and more. Our activities have spanned visual arts and photography; performing arts including drama, dance, and music (such as band, choir, music reading, and more); and other creation activities for future designers, architects, and engineers.

MODEL UN AND MODEL G20 CLUBS
Your child can become highly practiced at public speaking, critical thinking, and international research, while serving on a global stage as a delegate for either our Model UN Club or Model G20 Club. Model UN has been long established as a way for BISB’s world-changers to participate in local and national competitions on a variety of pressing global issues. Meanwhile, our Model G20 Club also debates issues of an international scope, but focuses on policy initiatives for the global economy, climate change, and sustainability.

OTHER INTERESTS AND SKILL-BUILDING ACTIVITIES

Some activities have included Lego, chess, board games, computer science, financial investing, community service and social justice initiatives, environmental activities, and Yearbook and Newspaper Clubs.

OTHER INTERESTS AND SKILL-BUILDING ACTIVITIES

While all BISB clubs allow students to explore their interests, by High School, these interests take on an even more essential role in guiding our students’ futures, equipping them with many useful experiences that can inform aspects of their university or future career decisions.

In our High School Newspaper Club, for example, students enhance their skills not only in journalism but also in project management, marketing, research, and publishing.

DukeofEtents
THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL AWARD PROGRAM
Your High Schooler can participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Program (DofE), the world's leading youth achievement award from the UK. Highly regarded by universities, this program focuses on leadership development across physical challenges, volunteering, and camping. Students who complete the highest level can even receive their award from the Royal Family.

ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENT
Your child can participate in extracurricular activities that enhance their academic interests beyond class time. Whether your child loves to explore STEAM, is strong at History Bowl or Math Competition, or wishes to practice another language (such as Mandarin, Spanish, or French, or strengthen their English), their participation will stimulate their growth beyond the classroom.
Globalgames4
GLOBAL CAMPUS COMPETITIONS
Through Nord Anglia Education's Global Campus, the online platform that connects our students with their peers across our worldwide family, students can enter creative writing and visual arts competitions. By participating with peers across NAE, our students get inspired, deepen their creativity, and learn from others’ perspectives.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
During “Enrichment” that spans two periods, Middle and High Schoolers deepen their interests in an area of creativity, activity, or service (CAS). To complement their enrichment activity, High Schoolers also get exposed to different careers, and students in Year 11 (Grade 10) can participate in a two-week “work experience” program that gives them first-hand insights.

SHAPING THE NEXT GENERATION
