Last Friday, BISC celebrated World Children’s Day and the great minds that sit in our classrooms. Students explored this year’s theme of getting their voices heard on a variety of important global topics. At the forefront of our explorations was climate change and how young activists use their voices to make real, positive difference in our world. Primary explored evidence of climate change, learned about David Attenborough's work and got creative with plastic bottle caps. To close the day, Y12 took over and ran a unique conference where they shared with younger years the issues, passions and frustrations of their lives through TedX-style talks aimed to inspire and inform. We had a full day of activities and discussions on what really matters to us. Great job everyone!
