Nursery Teacher

After obtaining my teaching degree in York, I moved to London to teach Nursery at a primary school in the borough of Lewisham. There I developed a passion for teaching the youngest learners and the Early Years curriculum. I have since taught in British International schools in China and Thailand. This is my second year teaching at BISC-LP.

One aspect I particularly enjoy about teaching Early Years is that everyday I witness children discovering their strengths and talents. This proves that there is no limit to what every child can achieve. When we stop answering questions and focus on raising questions through encouraging inquiry, we open doors for the children to challenge, push, and amaze themselves and those around them as to what they can accomplish. As Rabindranath Tagore said, “Don’t limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time."
