Adam Webb | British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park

Year 3 Teacher

I originate from the South East of England and spent the early part of my career working in the post production industry in North London. After some years I opted to work in a local special needs school close to home which ignited my interest in teaching. From there I went on to complete my teaching qualifications, gaining experience in various roles in Primary schools in Essex. My past four years have been spent at the Nord Anglia British International School in Shanghai, China.

Quite simply, I am excited at the prospect of spending more time in the great outdoors. Coming from China I am looking forward to enjoying the fresh air, open spaces and national parks alongside my friends and family.

Providing global opportunities to the children in our care is absolutely critical if we want them to develop an open mindedness to other people that we share the world with. Global opportunities increase children’s awareness, understanding and appreciation of cultures and helps them develop an appreciation for others.
