Stinky likes to eat beetles and birds so when we came across small bird feathers and what appeared to be shed snake skin, we really hoped a sighting would occur. Unfortunately, Stinky the rat snake is super shy and evaded us this time.

King rat snakes can grow up to 240cm long, king rat snakes are harmless constrictors; incidentally they’re also a delicacy. The king rat snakes are spotted from time to time in the valley that backs onto Cuiping hill.
Not to be alarmed, spotting one in our beautiful valley area is the highlight of the year! We are very fortunate to have this amazing setting at the foot of the Cuiping mountain.
