Our Chinese team in BSN is not solely aiming to help students to build up their language skills but also embrace a range of other skills in the lessons, e.g. promoting creativity through artwork, such as traditional paper cutting. In this way, we are assisting all students to form a global outlook that helps them understand a part of the world that may be very different from theirs.
The Chinese New Year Show at The British School of Nanjing is a traditional part of every year that convey the significance of the Spring festival to our Chinese people and presents our extensive culture through some astonishing performances.
Our annual art competition based on the zodiac sign is also an important element in our whole year plan; an essential part of building the scaffolding for language that allows our students to embed language and culture.
