Dear parents and children,
It has been wonderful to finally meet so many of you in person in recent weeks, whether it has been at this month's Teacher and Parent mixer event, during our United Nations Day celebrations, or at the school gates in the morning. One thing that has immediately struck me is how our children bound into school with such enthusiasm and confidence every morning and I am in the privileged position to be able to see why.
I feel privileged to see your children dress as pirates and superheroes; take part in maths treasure hunts; build trebuchets and answer the all-important question, "Did the Ancient Romans use toilet paper?" I am privileged to see your children challenged, supported and engaged by teachers who go the extra mile to bring their lessons to life. But mostly, I feel privileged to see this enthusiasm and confidence in my own children when they are bounding into school every morning.
