Virtual School Experience News from Year 1B

Year 1B have been enjoying their virtual school learning on their newest topic  'Splendid Skies'. I shared photographs of a Nature Walk I went on and set students a task- to go on a nature walk in their back gardens, compounds or local parks (if it was safe to do this).

During our live zoom lesson on Tuesday 28th April, we had a vocabulary quiz using some of our new topic words. We had to choose A, B or C. It was so much fun!

After we went on our walks we created time lines. Look at Santiago's  and Yuki's! They created a time line of events, showing where they went on their Nature Walks and what they saw in time order.

During our Maths zoom lesson today,  Eleanor and Rokki demonstrated how to draw a number line to count on when adding two numbers. They used the online whiteboard to show 1B how to do this. We were  so impressed by their ICT and Maths skills.

At home we have been keeping healthy and fit by following the fun PE lessons that Mr Scott sends us. We  also love the practical tasks set us. For example, making our own paper metre strip and using it to measure our height.

Keep up the good work Year 1B!
