The photo booth constructed by Early Years teachers made it a perfect stop for a magical morning. The children enjoyed a variety of activities this year such as; The Recycling Game, Ring Toss, Fan Decorating, Tattoos, Rice Surprise and Calligraphy, but the two most popular by far were the Lucky Draw and Beauty Parlor. EYFS cafeteria decked in red and the variety of new year treats made the food court experience better than ever.
The idea behind the Red Market is to celebrate the New Year and allow our children experience using money independently and making choices. Each child was given a red shopping bag with Ten Mooooney in it. The children were allowed to move freely through the EYFS wing deciding what to spend their Mooooney on. Running out of money wasn't an option as the Bank counter was right next door waiting for them to perform a task to earn more Moooney.
Thank you to all the EYFS staff for working so hard to set up all the activities.
Last but not least, thank you to all parents who helped with decorations and donating or preparing food, prizes and games, making this 4th Red Market a huge success.
The Year of the Ox is off to a fantastic start, we are optimistic about the year ahead!
