It is that time of the year where we review your feedback on ways to improve as a school as well as recognise and celebrate the strengths of our school.
I urge you to complete the annual parent satisfaction survey. This can be accessed below by clicking this link or copying the following webpage address into your browser: http://parentsurvey.nordanglia.com/survey/selfserve/5a0/171202?wave=y2018
For your convenience, we have a number of laptops and IPads available at reception for you to complete the survey in school whilst you wait.
Based on your feedback and suggestions from last year’s survey, we have made a number of changes at our school which include:
- More opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s learning.
We have increased the number of Entry Point and Exit Point events open to parents and implemented a termly ‘Class in Action’ day.
- Streamline school communication.
Class Dojo is now used as the teacher’s primary communication tool. Parents receive weekly learning letters, reminders and messages through dojo rather than email. This was suggested by a number of our parents and has been very successful this year.
- Provide parents with more information about the school, curriculum and assessment.
We have increased the number of parent workshops, which now take place every two weeks. These have included: English, Mathematics, STEAM education, Spelling and Phonics, Assessment and Reporting, Transition from Year 6 to 7, to name a few.
- Improve ECA sign-up process.
We have moved to a fully online ECA sign-up system this term. This has made the process easier for students, parents and teachers alike.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Have a great week!
Jimmy Frawley, Head of Primary
