Dear Parents,
Our Year 1, 2 and 3 Musical Melody performance on Tuesday evening was an absolute joy to watch. The show entitled ‘Ye Ha!’, took the standing room only audience on a journey to the Wild West and the troubled city named Splodge, where a plucky band of locals scared off a group of fearsome group outlaws in a humorous fashion!
The quality of speaking, singing and dancing was exceptional and the students, parents and staff left the hall humming, singing and whistling the catchy tunes as well as mimicking a few of the line dancing moves.
Events like this aren’t possible without the whole school community’s support. Many thanks to our parents for providing costumes (including a wonderful horse!), practising lines, songs and dances. The teachers, learning assistants, IT team and maintenance staff ensured that the staging, props and hall were ready for the performance.
This isn’t the only musical extravaganza planned for Mk Primary, as our Year 4-6 production is scheduled for the end of March. Practices are well underway and we are in for a spooky rock ‘n’ roll adventure.
Our Mile Post Sports Days are scheduled for this week, please see Class Dojo for details regarding timings. We look forward to welcoming many of you into school to support the students as they compete in a range athletic endeavours.
Have a wonderful week.
Jimmy Frawley, Head of Primary
