School in Action
It was wonderful to see so many of our parents at the Madinat Khalifa School in Action morning. The feedback from parents, students and teachers was very positive. In many classrooms our parents were put to use by helping sculpt dinosaur models from clay, constructing piñatas, supporting science experiments and solving algebraic problems!
There will be many more opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s learning through future school in action days, alongside our International Primary Curriculum (IPC) Exit Points and various celebration assemblies throughout the year.
MK Primary Parent Workshops
Thank you to those parents who were able to attend our recent Arabic and Mile Post 1 Parent workshops. As always, the presentations and useful resources have been shared on Class Dojo. Upcoming workshops include: supporting your child’s learning in Mile Post 2 and 3, STEAM education, English and Mathematics.
The purpose of these workshops is to provide useful information, strategies and resources to help you best support your child at home. With that in mind, I’d very much welcome your suggestions for future MK Primary Parent Workshops for next term. You can either speak to me at the start or end of the school day or via email at jimmy.frawley@nais.qa
Have a wonderful week!
