The F1 Club at NAS Dubai is made up of students from Years 7 to 10 that as a team, design and build their own car to compete in races with other schools in the UAE and around the world.
This morning the F1 students went to the Dubai Autodrome to speak with the technical experts and racing drivers from Dragon and AUH. They were taught about car design and were able to develop a greater understanding of how speed is created. The students also received a tour of the control room by the Head of Control and got some insight into the racing world and how it operates.
It was a very interesting and enjoyable morning with the big highlight sitting in the actual cars!
