Year 5 enter a National Day competition

The children in Year 5 had the opportunity to enter a National Day competition to create a colourful space rocket. Alexis Au, Dominic McIntyre, Sirine Ghandour, Melana Hargreaves & Mollie Tapping - our winning team from 5A - were invited by the UAE Space Agency to re-create their design on a 1.8m high fibreglass model which will be displayed as part of the UAE’s 44th National Day celebrations.

They've had an amazing day at the Sharjah Planetarium painting and decorating their space rocket and among the 44 rockets on display ours is certainly the most sparkly!
