I began my tertiary education at Manchester University where I studied Psychology. I was most interested in the developmental and educational aspects of the course. My professional career began in law but I returned to the subjects that fascinated me years ago and embarked on a career in teaching.
As a mature student I studied for my PGCE in the UK, inspired by my own two children and have taught in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6. My studies included targeting inclusion and a self-evaluation which focused on tailoring my teaching to personalise the differences in children. These studies reflect my aim which is to reach all the learners in the classroom in the most meaningful way to ensure best progress.
I am delighted to be part of the NAS Dubai team. We create a superb learning environment that is both fun and stimulating. There is a great deal of attention focused on the individual child that ensures a bespoke learning experience.
I am really looking forward to working with 6G this year.
