A high priority for Windermere Preparatory School is to create global citizens that will contribute to the 21st century in meaningful and impactful ways. During the school day, our school ensures that the students grow academically in the classroom, though we know that there are intangible lessons that happen outside of the classroom as well. As a result, we offer a variety of programs for our students that focus on enhancing their social, emotional, and physical well-being as well as providing opportunities for them to develop a social consciousness about the world around them.
In addition to being well-rounded, we encourage our students to get involved with our extracurricular activities so that they are continually developing character traits that will help them beyond High School. The Arts and Athletics are one of the many ways for students to increase their involvement. Additionally, with over 20 various clubs, organizations, and honor societies available to participate in, including Student Government, our students are able to find ways to develop their passions and show leadership in a safe and supportive environment.
Throughout the year, we encourage our students to participate in activities that provide experiential learning. Below is a list of events in which all students participate as well as ones based on an individual grade level.
