Global Campus Challenge Inspired by MIT

Today, our Laker Learning Buddies participated in the Nord Anglia Global Campus Challenge entitled “Hack the Tube,” inspired by our partnership with MIT. Hacking is a long-standing tradition at MIT and an important part of its campus culture. Defined by MIT as “the playing of harmless pranks, tricks, and creative inventions that demonstrate ingenuity and cleverness,” it is intended to promote STEAM initiatives in education. We were pretty excited to enact this MIT challenge with our Laker Learning Buddies, about 800 students at once!
