  • Kaylan Patel World Championships

Middle School Student Kaylan Patel is again making headline news with his incredible accomplishments. This past Labor Day weekend, Kaylan competed in the national North South Foundation Geography Bee Competition, the largest Indian organization that holds this event in the country. Kaylan proudly placed second in the nation.

In addition, Kaylan competed at the International Geography World Championships held in Berlin, Germany, where he won two Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal at the World Championships, making his ranking 5th in the world. Kaylan was also the youngest competitor to win a gold medal.

"It was an unbelievable experience and five days of fierce competition," said his Mother Tejal Patel. "This is huge for Kaylan to be awarded on such an international platform and we could not be more proud of his achievements."

Windermere Preparatory School could also not be more excited for Kaylan's continued success!
