Windermere Preparatory School is one of only two Florida schools who were awarded the Strength of America Award by the National Strength and Conditioning Association for 2019 -2020. This award recognizes our elite high school strength and conditioning program which is led by Coach Micah Kurtz, Director of Strength and Performance.

Coach Kurtz and Windermere Prep Athletics have achieved the NSCA's high standards for providing athletes the best opportunity to improve their athletic performance based on supervision, teaching best practices both on the field and in the weight room, and integrating a healthy lifestyle for all students in our state of the art sports facility.  Congratulations to our athletes, coaches and the WPS Athletic Department.
