High School Dance

The High School Dance Division offers fundamental, intermediate, and advanced levels of dance, including an International Baccalaureate two-year program.

All dance levels will focus on ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, composition, body alignment and stretch.  All students are expected to dress in appropriate dance attire for class. Students will be given the opportunity to perform several times during the school year to help grow as dancers, performers, and individuals.

Lower and Middle School Dance

The goal of the Lower and Middle School dance courses is to develop and well-rounded dancer with the ability to express themselves through dance.  Dance subjects include ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre. Students will develop strength, flexibility, and confidence while expanding their dance vocabulary.  An important aspect of my teaching is that students are learning important life skills that go far beyond dance technique, in the most positive, supportive, and encouraging environment possible.  Students are able to showcase their talents and grow during performances throughout the year. A competitive Middle School Dance Team is also offered for students wishing to grow as a dancer while promoting school spirit.
