At Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong, we embrace the value that all children bring to our school. Our teachers are expert at working with children as individuals and adapting to a range of needs. We appreciate that each child may need support at some time, whether with a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia, or an emotional need, for example as a result of a bereavement.
It is essential, during the application stage, that parents are as open as possible about any additional support their child may need. Expert reports or talking with your child’s previous teachers are both useful ways for us to assess how well we can support your child. In some instances, we may suggest additional support in the classroom. This may incur extra charges which we will discuss with you before offering a place.
However, it may be that, after discussions with you, we feel that we cannot support your child's particular learning needs. In this case we may explain, with regret, that we can't offer a place.
