A letter from Buckingham Palace!

  • Queen's Hat Letter

Today our Head of Art, Mrs. Sarah-Jane Pate received a Buckingham Palace marked envelope! It was from Her Majesty The Queen's Lady-in-Waiting who wished to thank all the children in Class 4B for the lovely hats they made.

It said inside, "The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter in which you tell Her Majesty about your art assignment to design a hat for The Queen.... (She) was pleased to know how much you enjoyed completing your project..."

It really made our day - especially for Mrs. Pate and our pupils!
