Each House entered a team of 5 members from Year 4s to 8 who then faced a knock-out competition to decide who were the greatest spellers.

Here were the spelling teams:
Sandringham: Chrissa, Brendan, Ava, Chloe and Beatrice
Balmoral: Summer, Nichola, Tina, Simone and Marcus
Caernarfon: Gordan, Connor, Bobby, Elena and Nina
Windsor: Maithilli, Jack, Saffron, Sissi and Ryan

Mr. David Robinson led the competition with the help of Assistant Principals Mrs. Harley's word list and Mr. Bishop as judge, as well as Mr. Doherty and Mr. Boyd.
The students were tested on "Basic Bee" words such as humorous, sincerely and discipline to "Killer Bee" words such as intrusive, contour and rhythm.

The winners were Balmoral House with Marcus Wong and Simone Skovgaard in joint first place.  Sandringham came second with Chloe Yuan and Beatrice Villaflor joint second.

Well done to all who participated! They did a great job!
