Sandringham and Caernarfon Houses joined forces to organise a Books and Buns Day. There were two activities - firstly, a Bake Off between the two Houses. Teams of one adult and at least four children had to bake six cup cakes (or a larger cake!) for the Bake Off competition. Extra cakes made were sold for $10. The other activity involved Librarian Mrs. Richardson. Over the past few weeks, she's collected many second-hand books from parents and staff. These were similarly sold for $10 each.
The Bake Off proved to be highly competitive. Judged by our French chefs (Mr. Malone and Mr. MacKinnon), the final winners were selected this morning. Congratulations to Team Thunderbolt, Death Winners and Rostron Fam!
