    Mandarin Teacher

    Ms. Z. Lo

    Ms. Lo has been working with children at different age levels in both International Kindergarten and Elementary Schools over the past five years. She was previously a Mandarin Specialist Teacher in an ESF Kindergarten. Her teaching experience has benefited her to know about the child’s growth and development and to adjust her teaching based on different aged children’s characteristics. Ms. Lo holds a BEd(Hons) degree in Early Childhood Education, a MA degree in Early Childhood Education and a MEd degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language awarded by the Universities in Hong Kong.

    Ms. S. Jones

    Miss Jones has a BA Hons degree in Physical Education from Edge Hill University.  After qualifying as a teacher in 2011, she completed her NQT year in Bolton then moved to Kuwait.  Whilst working in Kuwait, she was the Head of Primary PE for over 1500 students.  Since 2016, Miss Jones has been working in Almaty, Kazakhstan surrounded by the beautiful snowcapped mountains.

  • Mr. N. De Sousa

    Mr. N. De Sousa

    Drama Teacher

    Mr. N. De Sousa

    Mr. De Sousa taught at Holy Trinity School, in North West London and before that was the Head of Drama at Peterborough and St. Margaret’s School in North London where he was responsible for running the GCSE Drama course for 5 years.  This included devising lively schemes of work often dealing with citizenship issues. The GCSE enabled pupils to use Drama to explore issues of conflict, justice and equality as well as study set plays from Shakespeare, to Oscar Wilde and Arthur Miller as well as allowing students to work on performance skills needed for the acting elements of the syllabus.

    Mr. De Sousa graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London and gained his QTS at Hertfordshire University. Mr. De Sousa also trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and is working with the University of Warwick and Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) to complete a specialism in teaching Shakespeare to young people.
