Mr. J. Weizer

Mr. J. Weizer

3C Class Teacher

Mr. Weizer holds a degree in Psychology from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.  Following his bachelor’s degree he then completed a Masters degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Niagara University in the USA.

Mr. Weizer has lived and worked in Hong Kong for 6 years. He has worked with a wide variety of age groups during his time teaching here in Hong Kong, ranging from Early Years to Upper Primary. He is passionate about ensuring all children are able to access the curriculum, regardless of language or additional needs. Mr. Weizer believes teaching and learning should be tailored to support the individual needs of the children in his class and he values different interests, backgrounds and prior experiences. At his previous school, he was the English Coordinator and responsible for supporting and mentoring new teachers with their teaching practice.

In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, playing sports and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. Mr. Weizer has been lucky enough to visit many countries in South East Asia, and is eager to improve his cooking and culinary skills over the next few years.
