IBDP Diploma Co-ordinator
Ms Alexander holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Northumbria University, as well as a PGCE in Business Education, and an MA in International Education. She taught and led departments in several schools in the North East of England before moving to her first international postion in Vietnam, where she stayed for 7 years. Her international management experience has been as the KS4 lead and IGCE Coordinator, after which she took the position of KS5 Lead and IB Coordinator. She is presently studying the Harvard Business School, Certificate in School Management and Leadership.

English Teacher, Higher Education Coordinator, CAS Coordinator
Susan graduated from University of Durham in 1998 with a First-Class Honours Degree in English Language and linguistics. After completing a PGCE in Secondary English and Drama Susan began her teaching career in 1999 at the British International School, Moscow, Russia, Nord Anglia Education. With many years’ experience of teaching GCSE and IB she will be joining the English Department at Nord Anglia International School, Hong Kong, Lam Tin.

Mr Doherty graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BA (Hons) in Communications. He has been teaching internationally since 2005 in South Korea, China and Hong Kong and holds a PGCE in Education and a LTCL Diploma in TESOL.
Head of Secondary
Nick Rickford joined NAIS Hong Kong as the school’s first Head of Secondary in August 2019. He holds an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham. During his teaching career, he has taught a wide range of subjects, including History, Theory of Knowledge and Film Studies at post-16 level.
