Ms. C. Chamoret

Ms. C. Chamoret

Head of Modern Foreign Language, Windsor A House Tutor

Ms. Chamoret is from Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea and has lived in Europe and the USA during her childhood. After obtaining a BA (Hons) in French with International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London, she undertook a year as an English teacher assistant in a primary school in Mallorca, Spain. She then completed her PGCE in French and Spanish as Foreign Languages from Southampton University and started her Teaching & Learning mentoring and teaching career in the South of England for several years.

In 2017 she decided to move to South America and taught French at KS3, IGCSE and IB levels in Caracas, Venezuela, for three years, where she became Head of Languages as well. She moved to Hong Kong and joined NAIS in August 2020. 

She believes everyone's learning experience should be enjoyable, appropriately challenging and leading to a strong development of self-awareness on all levels. She continuously looks forward to flourishing the strong Foreign Languages Department, with a unified focus on love for languages and cultures from around the world.

In her free time Ms. Chamoret loves to read, paint, play on her new ukulele, hike and do a variety of other sports.
