Ms. S. Jones

S. Jones

P.E. Teacher

Miss Jones has a BA Hons degree in Physical Education from Edge Hill University.  After qualifying as a teacher in 2011, she completed her NQT year in Bolton then moved to Kuwait.  Whilst working in Kuwait, she was the Head of Primary PE for over 1500 students.  Since 2016, Miss Jones has been working in Almaty, Kazakhstan surrounded by the beautiful snowcapped mountains.

I am relentless in my approach to the provision of high quality PE and Sport for all students.  I am looking forward to relocating to Hong Kong and starting as a PE teacher at Nord Anglia International School.  Meeting new students and supporting them on their own health and fitness journey is the most satisfying aspect of my job.

Outside of teaching I enjoy anything that provides a challenge, having summited Mount Kilimanjaro in June 2015 and trekking to Everest Base Camp in March 2018.  I am a keen and enthusiastic CrossFit athlete and I am really excited about the opportunity to play and hopefully coach netball again.
