This week students from Years 7, 10, 11, & 12 are heading to Monterrey to the ISRMUN to talk in front of real world leaders about real world issues. Our sister school, San Roberto International School, Campus San Agustín will host this extraordinary experience that allows students to learn and practice a wide variety of skills which include: public speaking, leadership, listening and debating. Our goal is for students to learn about world affairs and diplomacy, to create empathy and tolerance, and to promote an understanding of countries and cultures all around the world.
ISRMUN is a United Nations simulation where 700 delegates from more than 35 schools around the state of Nuevo León, México and other parts of North America come together to discuss global issues and propose viable solutions.
This year, the Secretariat is proud to announce that ISRMUN has been accredited by the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA). IMUNA is a non-profit organization and partner of the United Nations that promotes education through simulations. It organizes and hosts dozens of MUN simulations around the world.
