ISRMUN is an annual student-run conference hosted by San Roberto International School, Campus San Agustín in Monterrey, Mexico. Since its inception in 2002, ISRMUN has grown into Northern Mexico’s premier Model United Nations experience for middle and high school students, with over 1,000 participants from across the Americas.

ISRMUN aims to educate young people about the United Nations and contemporary international issues. We strive to create positive educational experiences that focus on collaboration and cooperative learning. During recent simulations, ISRMUN has welcomed speakers ranging from UN and international affairs experts like UNICEF’s Team Leader on Public Partner Advocacy & Visibility and the Sustainable Development Goals Shannon O'Shea and UNICEF México’s National Adolescent Development Officer Janina Cuevas to student change-makers like Girl Up’s Northeast Mexico Coalition Leader Kristen Corlay.

Moreover, we are proud to announce that ISRMUN has been accredited by the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA). IMUNA is a non-profit organization and partner of the United Nations that promotes education through simulations. It organizes and hosts dozens of MUN simulations around the world.

The next edition of ISRMUN will be an internal simulation on May 26th and 27th, 2022. The internal event will be open to San Roberto International School, Campus San Agustín students in grades 7 to 9.
