Each child is a unique individual, and we take a tailored approach to developing their sense of personal wellbeing and confidence, as well as the strength of their character.
Each day, we encourage the children to reflect on their emotions so that they can learn to manage their responses to the challenges of life. We develop strategies that encourage a productive response to adversity, and always ensure the children can find a caring, listening ear when they need one. The result is that children develop a strong sense of self-confidence, as well as empathy towards others.
Additionally, we develop a range of Success Skills, which are personal character traits that will lead to future success when honed over their primary years. These skills include critical reflection, independence, creative thinking, respect, self-discipline, communication, resilience, life balance, courage and caring actions (including self-care). We believe that every child has the ability to develop strength in each of these areas, and thus steer their lives in a positive direction.
